CDEA y ATAMOSTEC presentes en el Solar World Congress

12 presentaciones de investigaciones donde participan profesionales, académicos e investigadores pertenecientes al Centro de Desarrollo Energético de Antofagasta, UA y al proyecto ATAMOSTEC, fueron expuestas en el Solar World Congress, SWC, realizado en Santiago entre el 4 y 7 de noviembre.

Workshop

Se debe destacar que de forma paralela y en el marco del proyecto CORFO BBPP 17BPE3: Fortalecimiento de la calidad de sistemas solares industriales de torre mediante la medida de parámetros y estimación de la atenuación atmosférica con enfoque a entornos climáticos desérticos, se realizó un workshop denominado “Atmospheric Attenuation of DNI for Solar Tower Power Plants”.

En dicha jornada, se abordó el problema de la extinción atmosférica para plantas de torre y cuál es el estado actual de las investigaciones al respecto. Contó con 3 expositores de alto nivel en esta área:

Joaquín Alonso Montesinos de la Universidad de Almería, España.

Stefan Wilbert de la Agencia Aeroespacial de Alemania (DLR).

Jesús Polo del Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas Medioambientales y Tecnológicas     (CIEMAT), España.

La actividad fue organizada y moderada por el investigador del CDEA, Dr. Aitor Marzo, contando con la ayuda de José Cardemíl de la Universidad de Chile y parte de la organización chilena del SWC.
